I received my Quake miner but can't find the installation guide. Where can I find it?
Hi, please check here the guide and follow it step by step. Thanks https://quakecore-1.gitbook.io/quakecore-network/guide/onboarding-quake-miner
I just set up my Quake miner but it's continuously flashing green. What does this mean?
To be online and operational, the Quake miner must be installed vertically on the wall. Don't install the Quakecore on a wall subject to vibrations (for example, a plasterboard wall, near a door, or immediately next to a loudspeaker). Blinking green means that the Quake miner is not correctly installed vertically. So make sure to install it correctly vertically with the USB port pointing downward, and then just wait a few minutes. The blinking green will stop and you'll see the online status on https://app.quakecore.com/

I hear loud beeps for 30 seconds or more coming from my Quake miner, what means?
Your Quake miner has detected a vibration or a loss of verticality. Please check its installation: either it's mounted on a wall that is too subject to vibrations, so change the location where the Quake miner is installed, or it isn't perfectly vertical or not in good contact with the wall so check also that.
I verified that the Quake miner is installed correctly, it's vertical and mounted on a concrete wall away from vibrations, and its Quakecore-AP has disappeared meaning the miner is connected to my Wi-Fi network after the configuration step. But my dashboard still shows the device as offline. What can I do?
If it's installed correctly and charged for several hours, I recommend you to do a reboot. The reboot helps to solve the main problems. Press the reset button for a second, press gently, you'll hear a beep and a small green flash indicating it's rebooted. Then check in for a while. If everything is ok, you'll see in a while the status online on the dashboard app.quakecore.com

I'm hearing my Quake miner beep approximately every 2 minutes, what does this mean?
It's indicating that its battery is nearly empty. The Quake miner's battery lasts about 1 month after a full charge of about 12-24 hours. You need to recharge the Quake miner for it to function. During charging, it will continue to beep for about 30 minutes. This is normal — it will then detect that it is charging and stop beeping until the charge is complete, which requires at least 6 hours of charging. If after 6 hours of charging you still hear a beep, please do a reboot and so gently press the reset button just once
Can I keep the Quake miner always charged (while it's installed on the wall) for example using a long USB cable?
Yes you can do it, for example you can use a long USB cable connected at all times, anyway it's better to unplug it every now and then to be sure to avoid battery issues. You can use a standard phone charger (between 1 to 2.4 amps) and that's fine

I want to change my Quake miner's WiFi connection or I didn't save the PAK and Serial Number for registration, since the Quakecore-AP has disappeared, what can I do?
Follow this guide on How to Reset Quake Miner to Configure Stage: https://quakecore-1.gitbook.io/quakecore-network/guide/how-reset-quake-miner-to-configure-stage
I opened a ticket on #support on Quakecore Discord and the team asked me to provide console traces. What are they?
Regarding tickets or support, please always verify that you're interacting with a team member on the Quakecore Discord. No one on the team sends you a DM or asks you to connect to strange external sites. Please report any scams or fake members at #report-scam.
In any case, for console traces, you need to connect Quake miner to a computer using USB-C. As always, be careful when plugging in the cable—never force it. Once Quake miner is connected to the computer, if you're not familiar with serial traces, we recommend using https://www.serialterminal.com/ (or also https://espressif.github.io/esptool-js/). This site will only work with Chrome, which you will need to use.

Choose “Baud” 115200
Click on “Connect”
Select your Quakecore from the list that appears, on Windows it may be like USB_Serial COMx
Wait 5 to 10 minutes — the information will appear in the main window. This is the data requested by support.
If nothing appears after 5 to 10 minutes, gently press the reset button located next to the USB-C connector on your Quakecore. At this point, traces should appear.
I saw that to get more rewards (https://discord.com/channels/1125409548048535572/1327236222095200276/1434623344937926830) you need to have good uptime. But I don't understand why, my Quake miner is connected to my router is online and etc but my uptime isn't high, so I am getting few daily heartbeats. How can I improve it?
To improve uptime and thus get more daily heartbeats, I recommend:
In addition to the device being online and connected to your router/modem, make sure the Quake miner is within good WiFi coverage of your router/modem. If it doesn't, simply move the device and reinstall it on the wall where there's good coverage. Then press the reset button once and reboot (you'll hear a beep and a green flash; rebooting helps in many cases) and then check again after a while
If the uptime doesn't improve after rebooting, it's very likely that there's a limitation or something in your network that's causing conflicts with the Quake miner. I recommend trying changing the DNS settings on your modem/router with Cloudfare. So set the following in the settings: Primary DNS: 1.1.1.1 Secondary DNS: 1.0.0.1 The router/modem will reboot after saving the new settings. Then reboot the Quake miner again. Check again after a while to see if the situation has improved
If this doesn't work either, I recommend changing the connection to the Quake miner with another modem or router. It's very likely that the router you're using (for example, if it's a mesh network) is strangely having conflicts with the device and therefore isn't guaranteeing continuous uptime. Changing the connection with another modem/router is the most effective solution. To change the Wi-Fi connection, you need to perform a configure reset on the Quake miner. See here how do it: https://quakecore-1.gitbook.io/quakecore-network/guide/how-reset-quake-miner-to-configure-stage
